How goes the hunt, SG? Are you good at it? Are you the best?

And I wouldn't even need to leave Bendigo to do it - she's coming here.

Good idea, SG.

I was in Warringah Mall one day (yonks ago) and some bloke named Andre Rieu(?) was there with his violin. The whole place was jammed with walking frames.

If only they'd used them in anger.....

I can imagine the headline - Andre Rieu's the day....

I was in Warringah Mall one day (yonks ago) and some bloke named Andre Rieu(?) was there with his violin. The whole place was jammed with walking frames.

My very elderly aunt and uncle gave us a video of Andre, as a present for having them visit us. They BOTH have walking frames, though my uncle is currently not using his, being bedridden in an old folks' home in Boronia.

I went to visit him yesterday. He's still mainly being fed via a peg tube, but he CAN drink a cup of tea, as long as there is an RN around to supervise. He was trying to talk but I couldn't understand him, and he kept falling asleep.

I went to talk to one of the nurses and deliberately let slip that he was a digger in WWII and was awarded an OA for services to the RSL. I want them to treat him like the significant person he is/ was.
