I'd have borders as open for people as they are for trade.  Demonstrate value to this country and you're welcome, demonstrate genuine refugee status not just economic refugee status and you're in.  Want to come here and take up resources and space without adding anything - doors closed.

No Thal, the racist bit is that secret agents set the whole thing up so that some moral outrage could be caused in India, leading to a protest where a few people get killed. See? Secret agents killing by proxy. Very sneaky.

Hmm. The only comment I'm prepared to make here is that without Indian nurses, ALL our hospitals would have to close.

That's because the nurses we produce here from our universities are absolutely useless. They really are - they were when the first set went through uni instead of traditional, on-ward learning (1973) and are even more hopeless now, if possible.

If we brought back hospital-based training for nurses, with nurses' homes on site, and pay from day one, the problem would be solved. But then the Indian nurses would be fucked.
