No, she's what's called a criminal.

The good people of Goldman Sachs are "financial innovators". They are not criminals, they have not been convicted of a nefarious crime like that nasty little trollop. Fancy defrauding people of their money by claiming to have a product that will do stuff that you know it won't do. The only thing worse than that is selling the thing which you know doesn't work, placing bets that the thing will not work, and then insuring yourself against it not working when you know it doesn't work....

Oh, hang on a second...

Hah, serves them right for being so much more expensive than everywhere else. Seriously, why would you buy a book from there when there are so many cheaper places around?!

Boarders wasn't so bad. Or maybe it was. I may have put them out of buisness by sitting in there reading thier books and never buying any of them. I did buy shithouse coffee though, they'd make money from that yeah?

Yeah, they would. But are you nuts? Borders was more expensive than dymocks/angus and robertson...they did have sales a lot, but they were definitely not on the cheap end of books, no matter how pretty their stores are.

I don't go for pretty. I bought the odd one but it was dearer than any of those other chain shops I don't think...

Awesome! Does that mean I get my small independent book store back? Probably not, they're all gone too thanks to those bastards.

Woohoo! That's right, piss off Borders. You're the Woolworths of bookstores (except with no real market power... and no oligopoly, and less money).

Can't say I'm surprised at all, then again I get most of my books from Book Depository.

Most Aussie bookstores charge over and above anyway, sales tax for books from overseas, plus GST etc.

Oh how do you get the free post there SG? I always have to pay like 10 bucks each time for postage from Amazon...do you have a corporate/business account or something?

which is why i rarely bother with it and stick to ebay mainly. my best find was a group of 10 random books for 12 pounds and free shipping. whooo, go ebay!

Haven't you heard that we have near record employment levels and that there is upward pressure on wages due to a shortage of workers?  They'll have no trouble finding new jobs, just ask Chris Evans, he'll tell you.
