Hello
« on: February 09, 2011, 12:37:18 AM »

Hello Everyone,

My name is Pertinax. I have been absent for quite a while and so I thought it prudent to re-introduce myself to you all.

I am intolerant of idiots. I don't like whiny people who sprout left leaning ideology because they thinks its "cool". I detest celebrity. I loathe the fashion industry. I struggle to be civil to people who profess to like weird edgy arthouse movies or music which no one has ever heard of in an attempt to seem cultured and individualistic. I find the vast bulk of you people inane, boring, and predictable. You are the reason I left and so it would be advisable to steer clear of me in future. I tend to reside in the more substantial threads on this forum and so the majority of you will never cross my path as you are a flock of dullards, incapable of comprehension and devoid of anything worthwhile to say.

Having said that, I make this undertaking to the moderators. I'll try to be good. Promise.

Well, technically we have Adi and Eru, but they've not been on in months.

Try slagging off a noob so their parents ring the ABC.

HA! Been there, done that. Spent my time in the cooler with my baseball glove just bouncing the ball off the walls. The really funny part about that was that nothing I said to that person was terribly offensive. I mean, I'd said worse to plenty of others.

I think that's when they took the "most recent posts" ticker off the top of the screen so as to make it harder for everyone to join in. Oh, and the 60 second rule. Love that one.

I still promise to try to be good even if there are no mods.

Ah, but were your sig and personal text explaining the use of fear for controlling the masses back then as well?  Your own fault for giving them ideas.

I'm in a joke finding mood. In honour of such a great return (well, two new threads is pretty exciting :|), have a welcome back joke:

A teenage girl came home from school and asks her mother, "Is it true what Rita just told me?"

"What's that?" asks her mother.

"That babies come out of the same place where boys put their penises?" said her daughter.

"Yes it is dear!" replies her mother, pleased that the subject had finally come up and that she wouldn't have to explain it to her daughter.

"But then, when I have a baby," responded the teenager, "won't it knock my teeth out?"

Enjoy your stay. I've got the ABC on speed dial.

Good morning. I hope you have had a pleasant holiday and have returned full of vigour and energy. There are a number of pressing issues for you to look at, but the number one priority is to do something about Bookies jokes. After that is GC. I'm not sure she cn be saved, but your track record suggests it's worth a try. You'll have to wait til she gets back from Nimbin. Yep, you heard it right. Nimbin.

Aside from that, there are the normal day-to-day problems to work on. Monthly reports due 27th of the month as usual.

Cheers.

Ironically despising celebrity and the fashion industry are both things people who sprout leftist ideology to sound cool do.

That's the first joke I've posted in god knows how long and I still get shit for it :(

If you mean my general humerous ramblings, well, changing my personality is a touch too hard.
