2010 Victorian Election
« on: July 27, 2010, 03:02:35 PM »

I vote Liberal. I'm extremely pissed off at Brumby at the moment for his constant refusing to take the blame for the fucked up transport system. Here's a tip Brumby - DO NOT CONTINUE TO PRIVATISE THE NETWORK and then maybe taxpayers will stop whinging about the poor form of the train/tram operators when they are then paying for it themselves. Though it was Kennett who privatised everything in the first place so the problem probably wont be fixed if the Libs get power again....

The fence is looking rather comfortable at the moment....

November wolfe. Ages away. Feds get the polls first which may or may not influence this election. As if Libs win the federal one then they may also win this one, but if Labor hold on, etc, etc

I dunno. People tend to like an opposite situation (If you have Liberal Federaly, Labor on a state level) Whatever the case....

You will note though, the libs started getting into serious consideration in the states after Kevin 07.

The patheticness of state Liberal opposition parties has been very frustrating. The NSW state Labor govt has been truly pathetic for many years, and yet the Libs still can't beat them. If they put Mad Mel Gibson in charge of the Libs here they'd stand a better chance.

I'm not normally a Liberal voter, but I did vote Isobel Redmond last election. South Australians are dumbfucks, voting in Rann again.

Appparently the trade-off to pacify voters after yesterdays fuck-up is to make friday a free travel day....rightio. Brumby did manage to apologise though, which is a start but he still blamed Metro for his own fuck-ups. I feel sorry for Metro, Connex, Yarra Trams, etc for having to put up with this...

Same. They inherited a seriously fucked system, and people expect them to fix it overnight. And just imagine if the government, instead of investing a gajillion dollars in myki, had invested even half that in maintenance of the infrastructure. Yesterdays fuckup would not have happened. Brumby is a douchebag, and Steve Bracks doubly so for fucking off and leaving us with him. And you can't vote liberal, cause Ted Baileu is a fucking wimp. Do you remember last time, he wore budgie smugglers just like Tony Abbott. WTF is with the liberals and budgie smugglers?

Eru, Libarals are flashers.

I also speak for myself in this regard.

There's nothing wrong with it.

I dunno who to vote. Hate Brumby government with a passion, but I don't want to blindly follow Liberal everywhere. Ted Baillieu kind of erks me too, he is always quick to criticise but never comes up with a plan on how *his government* would fix it :-P Guess I need to do a little research after the fed election. But at the moment, it looks like I'll be voting Libs for state.
