That's right. Even as we speak they are lurking in corridors, farmville and sewers, building up their energy points, planting their crops until one day they will arise from the ashes like the Phoenix to once again command the nation from a solitary senate seat!

Question: Can Labor, Bandt, Wilkie, Oakeshott & Windsor all agree on anything?

Answer: No on your life.

Libs in government in 6 months. Awesome. :)

The democrats sound like the greens in their environment/energy policy and some of their other policies such as animal welfare and ages care look better than anything Labor have done so far ie: fuck all....

Great. The democrats are spreading computer viruses. I just clicked into their website and the anti-virus on my computer went nuts. Oops. No-one go into their website or download anything from the democrats. I take it back, THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED!

I still agree with them supporting the United Declaration on Animal Welfare though...

The difference between the Greens and the Democrats come down to two things imo.

The Greens started as an evironmental party and whipped all thier other policies as almost an afterthought; a way to add flesh to thier party identity. The Democrats was started as new political party, following Don Chipp's break from the Liberal Party and therefore started by assembling a series of new policies, it's intention not to get through one of those policies but to "keep the bastards honest" as the biscuit box proclaimed, to operate for more democratic and lefty outcomes within the democratic process. The other difference is that Don Chipp and those that followed until about the mid 90s were real political animals. They new how to work the system; when to kick a fuss and when not too. Bob's boys have no such skill.

Oops. Or more: I TOLD YOU SO!!

They couldn't even last 24 hours. geez. Though Labor will probably do some deal with the Windsor to stop him walking over the mining tax. Like, scrap it completely?

3rd Sept. Joe Hockey - "It is inconceivable to me that country independents would choose to go with what would be the most centre-left government in Australian history, in a Greens-Labor alliance."

Maybe this is the problem with the coalition. Lack of imagination?

Yeh, and then the charade a "fiscal responsibility" which we've had to put up with for the past few years will finally be thrown away.

We all know it's a lie, we're just waiting for the evidence. It will come.

Apparently country folk freaked out yesterday when they heard that a woman in Labor was running the country.

My old Nimbus is being driven around Melbourne with "The PM has tits!" written in lipstick above the boot.  I told my friend to make sure there was no room between has and tits for someone to write big, thus changing the entire thrust of the message.  :|
