The Official Australian 2010 Federal Election Thread
« on: July 19, 2010, 01:52:10 AM »

It's under way, the first babies have been kissed, and the first outrageous promise have been made.

Who will have the most popular facebook page? Who will have the most Twitter followers? Who will create the best youTube video? Can the election out-rate Masterchef this week?

What are the issues? Are they really Refugees, Carbon Trading & Population expansion? Or are these just headline grabbers, and votes will be more about Health, Jobs and financial security?

Polls have Labor neck & neck with the coalition, so it will be interesting to see what transpires.

Yes, I also left out the Australian Fishing and Lifestyle Party, who hold the same number of seats, as do quite a few others.

Haha, I thought you meant that you voted in the actual election and was a little confused.

I think Labor may have it again. Let's see how that goes for them.

Yes, I also left out the Australian Fishing and Lifestyle Party, who hold the same number of seats, as do quite a few others.

The last three don't have any seats.

I kind of want to give Gillard a chance...but I hate Labor. So I will probably vote Liberal. This is why the Labor Party did a good thing in kicking out Rudd - it has confused a lot of his haters.

So do the Democrats. South Australian Senate.

No they don't. They got beaten out by 'Dignity for Disability' (who by the way I also didn't list because I couldn't bring myself to do it)
