How interesting.

Seems the Billion Dollar Bungler has the same penchant for spin that her incompetent predecessor did.

Of course the mining industry types are over the top enthused about a tax that takes $10.5 billion out of their profit line.  I'm sure they gave up their whole campaign for the sake of about 10% of the original budget.

But hey, so many fell for the computer modelling about global warming I guess it's worth a shot - maybe Australians really are dumb enough to deserve another term of Labor incompetence.  Maybe the rest of Australia has yet to see and feel the end result of the NSW backroom boys who have so comprehensively screwed this state over and now want to play at the Federal level.

Disgraceful.

They should be forced to release every document they have when announcing new taxes. So we can decide for ourselves whether they are fair or not. And wait for them to announce another tax to cover the shortfall in revenue from the mining tax too. Medicare would be the easiest to screw around with, as well as the private health cover rebates they offer, as you either have one or the other so everyone would be affected...

I don't think you have to capacity to understand any document regarding tax revenue Jo.

Learn to read articles fuckwit:

"The Coalition yesterday repeated its demand for the government to release the modelling behind the proposal. "Until they show us the modelling, we wouldn't know who's plucking figures from where, whether the first set of figures were a smokescreen and these are the real figures or whether the first set of figures were real and these are a smokescreen," opposition resources spokesman Ian Macfarlane said."

I was just agreeing with what was in there. And I do know a bit about the economy. What would you know you are just an accountant?

Lets pretend for a moment that fadeaway was trying to make a point instead of trying to get a rise out of you.

What would these people know about the economy?

"I think the resource rent tax will increase pressure on businesses and the economy."

"I support a carbon trading scheme - Australians need to take personal responsibility for the pollution they discharge into the atmosphere."

Oops, how did this photo end up in here?
