Failure, failure, failure.

Julia Gillard is now officially the Billion Dollar Bungler.

Bad luck Gen Y, you're going to have to pay back this debt in the same way us Gen Xers had to pay back for Hawke-Keating profiligacy.

Expect your options to be limited for years as we pay back the Labor incurred debt which has provided zero sustainable benefit to the economy as a whole.

Zero sustainable benefit, eh?  This despite the fact that Australia is doing better than most other countries recession-wise?

Don't worry, Thal.  Remember I failed neoliberalism!  I won't be getting into any extreme economic arguments, though SG might.  Me, I'm just backing out quietly.

It can be very difficult to see everything when you're one-eyed and have a short memory.

Do you really think that this will last long-term? It won't. That's what zero sustainable benefit means.

Kev's re-election bribes have only served to prop up Australia's unsustainable obsession with borrowing money that can't be repaid. In a couple of years' time, Australia will have its own epidemic of defaults, just like the US did.

Which has zero to do with Kev's actions in spending a billion or so on imported insulation batts and destroying the long term future of the local industry (as predicted here by me when the thing started), the fact that the majority of the money to be spent has yet to be paid out and so on and so forth.

Kevin Rudd BBS (he likes his "fair suck of the sauce bottle" Australianisms so much I'm going with Bloody BullShitter for him) has done nothing positive whatsoever.  He's been good at media management, very good in fact.  To the extent he has large parts of teh population bluffed that he actually did stave off the recession etc.  Problem is that people are now starting to see through the spin and realise that the reality is very  different and nothing much is actually being done.

SG, no need to campaign for the Libs.

We win by default.

I am faced with the worst decision anyone can be forced to make.

Kev's Labor or The National Party.

SG, no need to campaign for the Libs.

We win by default.

Jeff Kennett took that option at teh time he had just sorted Victoria out.  He got rolled by Bracks who then enjoyed teh fruits of Jeff's efforts.

And kept the Labor party in power for the next 15 years or so whilst they undid all the good work.

We must remain vigilant, the price of economic freedom is common sense and a Liberal vote.  There are way too many nuff nuffs who will continue to vote Labor regardless of the damage they do.

Yeh, but they'll vote Labor regardless of how obvious their ineptitude is. Can't do anything about that.
