You'll vote Labor.

Voting has nothing at all to do with who you put a "1" next to.

It's which major party you rank higher. Unless one of the minor parties actually is competitive in your electorate.

No-one has EVER voted Green in the HOR, because they've never been elected - for example.

People who say "I don't vote Labor or Liberal" are delusional and ought to be shot.

I agree with that last bit. However, I am happy to vote whoever I think can do a better job, and there's only the Libs and Labor to choose from. Labor has moved a fair bit to the right - probably in line with the aging population/vote. They haven't quite got to Lib territory yet, but occasionally you see them stealing ideas off each other - which is pretty hilarious.

Currently I find Labor pretty unconvincing, but they haven't done anything terribly wrong for a first term government. Maybe not inspiring, but it's hard to complain about the state of living/social/job or financial in Australia. The Libs have not really regrouped yet following the last election, and even their leadership seems a bit sporadic. Abbott just doesn't strike me as having the necessary clout to govern. He has his boys club (like Downer), but that doesn't really cut it with the voters.
