i don't think they should make up their own artists. they should just make parodies of artists who do exist, similar to what the do at the beginning of each show. anyone else agree?

Strongly disagree. It means they can take the piss out of various artists of the same genre under one banner. The Fatcocks for example, took off The Sex Pistols, The Ramones and some of the later anti-Thatcher punk bands.

I dunno...both generalising or being specific have advantages and disadvantages, its whether those particular people are good at one or the other that matter.
