US Priorities - What should they be?
Pertinax:
President Obama won the nobel prize for peace but he is fighting two wars simultaneously. He has made plenty of noise about his priorities but is confronted by a bewildering range of domestic and foreign policy issues all competing for his attention.
The poor bloke has a pretty tight schedule. In the interests of helping him prioritise, please feel free to vote in the poll.
When we're done, I'll forward the result to his website.
Bookworm.:
I'd quite like to think that Fadey's fuckwittery is the biggest threat to the US :D
SG:
World domination.
Seriously.
Make democracy the world model and nuke anyone who disagrees.
Solve Afghanistan by gassing teh fukers in the mountains. They can hide and escape from other forces but enough gas to sterilise the area of everything down to cockraoches will do nicely.
Give Syria, North Korea and anyone else similar 24 hours to decalre open elections supervised by the UN.
If they don't comply the send in a Tomahawk.
If they still don't comply use up plenty of obsolete ammo.
If they still don't cmply go in hard.
Fuck 'em.
We have the best form of government in the history of the planet. Force it on them and educate the fuckers to stand up for themselves.
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance. The price of world freedom is US and Western allies intervention.

Thaluikhain:
There's one or two serious problems with that idea. Not withstanding the moral issues and massive collateral damage, you'd need the country to be 100 percent behind you, and Obama's popularity rating isn't ever likely to get that high.
In addition to that, the retaliation would be rather impressive. America's national security gets shown up as it is, a real crusade would gather more enemies than it could defend from. And what are you going to do about places that aren't third world backwaters that aren't keen on western democracy?
America has a long history of attempting to impose democracy on various parts of the world, and it tends to fail spectacularly.
(Not to mention that many in the West aren't really that keen on genocide, and you have to listen to them in a democracy)
I'd say the economy. Most of the rest of those concerns could be safely but on the back burner, at least for the duration of his presidency.
Invisible Friend.:
Other. Because I know shit all but have a thing where I need to vote in every poll.
