yeah It was just because I said 'foxwhat' before,..   foxtel used to do satellite too?
I dunno though, haven't seen anything on cable/ satellite since I left home..

I'll clear this up, because I work for them:  Austar and Foxtel both use the same satellite(s), with the same channels.  Both companies put dishes up in people's homes, and each area can only get one company (except Gold Coast).  The only difference is Foxtel also has cables in some suburbs in some cities, which basically have a big dish every few kilometres where they convert satellite into a cable signal, and add Freeview to it.  To connect to it they give you a slightly different box that plugs into a "cable" cable instead of a "satellite" cable.
