This is true. But I hate when arrogant people leave thinking like they're so great and I think it too. So I always argue back...

Yeah each to their own. Don't you feel more angry and frustrated though?

They never listen, pick things you say out of context, always think they're right no matter what you say and then if all else fails, they take totally irrelevant jabs at your life and person.

Doesn't seem worth it to me.

Yeah, it does frustrate me. It depends on how seriously I'm arguing. If it's serious then I'll get too involved and yeah, that will be bad. But if I'm not totally dedicated to what I'm saying, I don't really mind.

I just aim to come out of it making sure that they understand that I don't like that attitude...

You couldn't if your life depended on it. Because that would mean you'd have to admit defeat, and it won't happen.

GAHHHHH FUCK!!!!!!

YES, I KNOW!!! THAT'S WHY I USED IT. BECAUSE IT WAS CLEARLY WRONG AND MISGUIDED....ARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Of course you did honey.

Sooner or later you'll get over trying to justify your myriad errors as "I did it deliberately coz I thought it was funny" and just accept the fact you're a simpleton.

Why?  Isn't there going to be a number of unknown variables which may or may not remain constant to deal with?  Especially since understanding how the brain works has a long way to go.

Possibly, but if Bookie's claim that depression is nothing other than chemical imbalances is to be believed then there are no unknown variables and the brain can be corrected by, effectively, a course of vitamins and tablets containing the required chemicals.

Which is clearly absurd.

You know, books, the more you talk back, the more it encourages him.

Best thing to do is just ignore and let him think he's so great.

Good thinking.

I doubt Bookie will be able to contain herself though, she's just like he rmother and we all know about that scenario!

You think I'm "so great"?

Good for you, at least you get some things right
