I thought being 15 was supposed to be fun and carefree? Clearly not.

Being 15 is awful.  It's the worst age for everything.  Your hormones are sending you bipolar, you are expected to be deciding what you want to do for the rest of your life, you have to go to school where they treat you like the child you still are but believe you aren't, and nobody understands you - especially these days, because illiteracy id the norm and a lot of teenagers can't even speak properly.

I may be at an age when people start to mock me for being old, but I'd infinitely prefer to be my age than 15.  *shudders at the memories*

Are your spawn aware of the wonderful entertainment to be had in telling the old, and slightly demented, that they've already said that, when in fact they have not?
It is especially amusing when you manage to convince to poor old bat that what they believed they had only just learnt, they had actually discussed in depth just last week.

They take it too far, though.  I would never buy anyone a GHD hair straightener.

"But Mum, you told me yesterday I could have 70 of my closest friends over for a drunken party next weekend!"
