End of an era, or just a pointless shift in furniture?

Discuss.

Shift in furniture. If voting could actually change anything it would be illegal.

I don't think those two are mutually exclusive concepts; that is, I think that as we are entering a more modern era where many of our parents and grandparents views are being antiquated or eroded, some of the policies which Japan's new president will introduce will be revolutionary-- well, more revolutionary than Rudd's Education Revolution, anyway. I guess what I'm saying is that all politicians, no matter where they're from, make misleading statements or promises during the 'heat of the moment' i.e election time; but the East in general and Japan in particular are beginning to make lasting changes in government policy. My worry is just for internal affairs-I feel Japan is so caught up in the trading market and international relations that the people get neglected from time to time.

But, overall, I think we're just looking a a furniture change...perhaps this couch will face at a new and crazy angle

thank you guys

Holy shit.

Move aside folks.

There's someone actually presenting a considered opinion rather than just baiting or taking the piss...

thank-you !!

I'm actually really glad no-one noticed by terrible grammar in that. Which reminds me, as a child I was convinced the word 'grammar was printed on worksheet as a joke. I thought it meant 'grandma'. Just a bit of history.
