In search for the truth or a fight or something,
I ditched my car when I saw them coming,
I ran to the very edge of town,

She wore a leather coat and blue jean denim,
And in the eyes of the rents, she was worth nothin,
She had Punk rock jesus writtenen in her eyes,

But everyone knew so much better,
The world was tough, hell beget her,
They looked at her, and they looked straight past her lies

Of a better life, of her suburb rising,
Of new found joy where the only crying,
Was at the funeral of those that were past,

But the world it was determined to hold her back
Until ambition and ideals meant jack,
And that's where I came in,

We made love under the bridge that night,
On the cool, dry sand, under the Moonlight,
She smiled to me as I moved away,

But that would be the last time,
She went to the doctor to be tried for her crime
The guilty sentence produced a living jail for life.
