I have, somewhere, an original newspaper (with the massive front page photo) from the day he was shot. Devastating.

Yoko had some exhibition for John a few weeks ago where she displayed his bloodied clothes in a bag. That's true love...

Well, technically she displayed the bag with the bloodied clothes inside. She could have gotten away with them not being there at all, I'm pretty sure they weren't visible.

And "it's real love, yes it's real love" :-D

I've been to where John was shot. I have pictures around somewhere. There is this little garden across the road with drunk hippies in it. They told me they liked my shirt.

Also, they're acting as though he invented music. Ok, he did some good stuff which was at the vanguard of pop music and dance for a while there, but he did not invent bloody electricity or something.

Mind you, I'm told he did steal fire from the gods, and got tied to a rock with large birds pecking at him for some time in retaliation.

From the photo I saw, you could sort of see the blood stain through a small gap in what appeared to otherwise be a paper bag. What a whore.

What do you expect?  She's hardly going to remain in the public eye based on her own talents, is she?

I'm going to guess there was ten times more media coverage...

I doubt it because 20 years ago, the media wasn't so desperate for celebrity news that they would interview anybody they could find who touched John's hand, saw his face over the crowd, used the same toilet as John once did, ate at the same restuarant that John once visited 10 years ago, and who once visited the cemetary that John might be buried in,...

They tend to get a bit samey, though.

The one about Hitler getting angry at all the parody tapes, though, was hilarious.
