I guess cat's fur colour is more like human hair or eye colour than skin colour... but I'm not the biologist round here :-P

Well yes. They all have pink-ish skin under the fur. Though my black cat DOES have slightly darker skin than the white cat....

Blondie, you disgust me. There is such a huge difference between black people and dying children. I'm not going to outline it, because that would give my argument credibility, but you all know that it's true and the chaser's should publically apologise for being so dispicable!

The difference between races comes down to only a hand few of genes and skin colour fewer still.

In the same way, fur colour is determined by a few genes.

So different coloured cats could be different races.
