Only God knows that! How about not questioning everything and trying to understand everything and just accepting there are some things you will never be able to understand. You're letting your ego get in the way.

This goes for every single person that questions God.

I know there's some things I can't understand. That's why I don't believe in God. It's a neat solution when trying to answer the unanswerable questions.

Now bend over faggot.

Is it not more stupid to ask the unanswerable questions? Yes, yes it is.

Asking questions is never stupid Fadey. Many unanswerable questions have been posed and pondered. Doesn't make the query any less valid that it can't be answered.

Unfortunately, it most certainly does.

Asking and thinking about the answer is one thing. Asking in the hope that it may be further researched, I'm fine with that. Asking questions today that could be potentially answered in the future, as a signpost for further thought, perfectly fine.

Asking a question that can't be answered to prove a point is stupid, infantile and just plain nonsense! It's not what is asked, or the fact it's asked, but why it's asked.

Exactly but people are desperate to have said question answered. That's why figures in nice robes provide neat answers to said questions. It means people can be comfortable with a neat answer rather than having the questions just sit there.

Um, Wolfey, you seem to be trying to have a serious discussion with Fadey there.

There is no "neat answer". This is evidenced by your dissatisfaction with said answer.

The guy in the robe just says you'll have to wait til the next life, or the final judgement, or whatever to find out more. How is that neat? No way known...

I said the question should not be asked in the first place. By all means, ask yourself, and think about what you feel most right believing in. But don't ask people, and then point to the fact that they cannot answer as proof that atheism is the way to go.

That reasoning is very illogical.

But one of the questions is 'What happens when I get knocked off?'

The afterlife and sorting is a neat answer to said question. Keep listening to me and you'll be treated favourably is a tactic of manipulation.

Indeed it is. There is no answer, so don't ask. You can't ask it, get lies in return, and then complain about being lied to. That would be your fault, would it not?

The afterlife and sorting is a neat answer to said question. Keep listening to me and you'll be treated favourably is a tactic of manipulation.

Course it is. And control. Don't mix the Church and God though. The two couldn't be more different.

Of course. I don't ask and I don't believe. The same goes with God.
