True, True, they both lash you with their tongues

Being burnt etc................

or the vagina of women having sex with demons, which sort of makes sense.

In what way does that ever make sense? Seriously?

It's just my opinion, but If you've just been fucked by a recently dead, malevolent evil force, that's hung like a collossal bull, and gives you headaches, catalepsy, and epileptic fits, just by resting on uncovered water that you just happened to drink,
then I don't really think being burnt at the stake is going to make your day significantly worse

Mind you, I'd rather not put that to the test

Oh come now, that's just a typical Saturday night for you Hammer.

Apart from the burnt at the stake thingy.

the "pear" was a metal blub that opened up like a flower to stretch and tear people's insides, used in the mouth of priests speaking heresy, the anus of passive homosexuals or the vagina of women having sex with demons, which sort of makes sense.

How is one a passive homosexual? Did they stick the pear down the urethra of the aggressive ones?

It's a giving it/taking it thing...dunno what they thought of the guy in the "masculine" role.

There's often been a perception that passive homosexuals (the receivers) are lowlier than their counterparts, presumably because they're demeaning themselves to the level of women, and the whole power imbalance thing. In a few cultures, it was only the passive man who was punished/looked down upon; those doing the dick work were more accepted, albeit tacitly.

What did Pertinax always say? "You're only gay if you're taking it"?

That's the one. Pops up alarmingly frequently in this book I'm reading at the moment, which is basically a history of homosexuality in non-Western countries from the year zip.

For my essay, of course.

What did Pertinax always say? "You're only gay if you're taking it"?

After his latest camping trip he amended that to 'you're only gay if you push back.'
