I say Democrats because I hate them much less than the Republicans.

McCain put alot of effort into his "I'm not really one of them" thing, but yeah, the Republican party never really stood a chance.  If they had found a female VP candidate other than Palin, maybe there'd be an outside chance, as it is, no.

Opinion polls mean shit all i think. When it comes down to voting the yanks are not going to vote for Obama. Because he is black. He may not be a "black american", but he is still black. And america is a racist country. They say they arent, but they really are. My money is on the Republicans. Not because I want them to win; but they will anyway. Anyone want to bet on this and prove me wrong??

Well, there is that.  On the other hand, black presidents always look good in the movies.

And he isn't Bush.  Not being Bush is his strongest selling point.

i think one of the big things going for obama is the fact that his running mate isn't sarah palin.

Well...she might be...few people seem to know who his running mate is, or anything about him.  Ok, Biden probably isn't Palin, but they both have 5 letter consonant-vowel-consonant-in names...

Sarah Palin is just a joke. She's too average, too much of a self-proclaimed soccer mum. Most people don't want that in a politician, especially not one running for vice presidency - they want someone with a high level of intelligence to run the country (read: world).
But then the last two US elections have lead me to lose faith in "most people". So who knows what's going to happen.

So it turns out all of the TV stations will be broadcasting live election stuff tomorrow, except for Channel 10, because they're way too hip to be square. Here's the guide to Australian TV's US election coverage.
I may even tune in to CNN or Fox News. Fox would probably be the most fun if McCain loses, but I don't know how much Bill O'Reilly I can handle.
