Didn't they do that on The Chaser... interviewed Americans about who's fault it was for the terrorist attacks and gave three options and people were picking Obama... :|

This lady haha, my god she was gullible. I kind of feel bad for telling her that she better ask her friends & colleagues etc if they've heard anything about Obama being linked to Osama :-P She came back online one day going "I have found out that Obama IS linked to Osama!!!!!"

I enjoyed it. But I can see much the same thing on the Daily Show or the Colbert Report. It's nice to have a slightly Australian (yet very similar) point of view though.

Downloaded the podcast and it's not bad. I'm not sure discussing the American election translates well on Australian radio though. Sure people over here mostly know the candidates but they're not familiar with the daily election happenings going on over in the US. I think this would work better as a panel show on tv where they can actually show some footage.

I think it works just fine on radio. The sound clips they play are enough to educate the uneducated.

I reckon it's improving as they go along. First ep seemed a bit 'old news' somehow... basic intro stuff which seems old if you watch Daily Show/Colbert, but for those who haven't really been following it I guess it was good. It's definitely better when they add more new stuff from the news that day.

I did rather like the quiz  :lol:

Although 'I like pie' could get old very quickly... (still wouldn't mind a t-shirt though  :-P )
