All time Darwin Award

I've read about plenty of idiots getting themselves killed, but this one beats the lot:

Quote
The inquest reached a verdict of accidental death, and the coroner said he was satisfied Ms Sutton-Smith had not intended to kill herself.

What exactly is someone intending to do when they refuse to get out of a burning car, if not kill themselves?

She was severely mentally ill and had no sense of self preservation, hence she was in danger but not naturally inclined to protect herself, as a 'sane' person might.
Quite sad, actually

Yeh, she doesn't qualify. Sheer stupidity is not quite the same as being insane.

PLus, nothing can beat the dude who chopped his dick off thinking it was a rooster that woke him up in the middle of the night (it was then eaten by his dog and therefore gone forever once he realised what he did)...he may not have died but heh, funny shit

That's hilarious, SPA!  You need to go and look at a YouTube called "Hatchet vs genitalia".  That's a barrel of laughs too.

Now now. I think you need to calm down. Perhaps watch this YouTube:-P

I just refer to them as videos. Or clips. Or YouTube videos. YouTube is more like the adjective, whereas video is the noun.

YouTube is also a verb, though, as in "just go and Google it": "just go and YouTube it" etc etc. And then there's "YouTubeish" for things that look like they belong on/came from YouTube; and "YouTubely" is probably an acceptable adverb, if ever required - "she filmed that very YouTublely" = "that's the worst piece of cinematography I've ever seen".
