A few more people have brought up the IE/forum issue. After a bit of a brainstorm and some test runs, we think we know what's going on.
Some people view the forum "wrapped", as part of the Chaser website. This appears to be causing the problem when using IE. What you need to do is view the forum as a stand-alone, not through the Chaser website. The URL for this is
http://www.chaser.com.au/s/index.php The forum fills the whole page instead of being skinny and centred in the middle. It also means you don't get any annoying pop-up ads, etc. A lot of us use it anyway, it's much better once you get used to things being more spread out. Please give it a whirl, and I suspect it will stop the problems.
The other option, as other people have suggested, is to use Firefox or Safari, and I'd still say do that if you can; you'll soon realise how much IE sucks. If you can't use it (because you're on a work computer, etc), go for the "unwrapped" option. Even better, do both!
Please report back once you've tried this to let us know if it does in fact solve the problem.
