Yeah, but I'm coming at the end of November about two weeks before you all will meet....

Althouh, it would have been cool to speak to someone in spanish.

Ah well...I won't even be 18, so I probably wouldn't be able to go to bars or anything. And not having my company for the night is no big loss.

Enjoy it when it comes though  :-)
Aw, that's a pity :-( One day, Booky, one day, en el futuro. I might be coming to Sydney next year some time for uni research, anyway.

If we make a date now, we can mark our calendars off and if someone else comes up for someone it's too bad :-P

So is everyone free whenever? Because we may as well do Saturday if Mez can, and besides, it's better to not rush from work/school.
That's the idea! First in, bessed drest. Saturday's fine for me.

I'll be in uni then too, so easier for me to sneak away!

Ah good :-) I'm still trying to justify not explaining to my parents exactly why I want to spend 6 nights in Melbourne. Mum's like "oh, but won't you get lonely?" and I can hardly tell her I'm organising to meet all these strange people off the internet! I've given her plenty of good reasons, though, and they trust me.

I've told my mum I'm going to Melbourne. She seemed fine with it so that probably means she's not taking me seriously.
I'll just tell her I'm going with a uni friend or something. If I even end up coming. Who knows.

Aww, aint that sweet. Finally by age 22 they trust you  :-P Nah, I can understand the parents thing well enough. My brother would kill me if he though I would ever try to meet up with an internet person....

Nah, they've always trusted me, they believe I'm a very mature and responsible young woman who would never do anything half so irresponsible as meet people off the internet...

I love that people are talking about christmas parties already. It means the end is at least reasonably near- if you call five months near.

I'm up for a christmas party in Melbourne getting drunk with complete strangers.

And I can't tell if you're joking.

Actually I'm not- I enjoy getting drunk with strangers and it will be interesting seeing if people here are how I imagined them in real life. See you all there. Where is this thingy held by the way?

Where and precisely when is what still needs to be decided. Not being a local, I'll leave the rest of you to deciding a place. Somewhere that serves soft drink is my only requirement. :-)

Well I can't tell with you. Most likely at Y&J opposite Flinders, on a saturday in december that Adi is present. so we have a possible date and a usual location, but neither are for sure.

Just a warning, if there's usually a larger group of people most pubs like a booking

Just a heads up.

The more you talk about this, the less I want to come.

Win-win.
