Hmm... Adi...

I have dwelt in both Sydney and Perth, and to me, Perth couldn't be more removed from Sydney's 'vibe'!  Sydney seems to have more of a history - there aren't as many "wow" buildings in Perth. In fact, none I can think of...

And Perth is just so goddamn small. I can't walk around for a day without seeing at least one person I'm obliged to wave to and exchange mindless pleasantries with!! Sydney - wouldn't happen. (To me, anyway...)

Hey Jelly  :-)

I'm a bit late with the welcome, but then I haven't been on the forum in aaaaages...

So... welcome to the forum  :-)

Can we call you Jelly for short? Everyone has to have a nickname... except me... Adi is quite short enough already.

You know I have to start trying out nicknames for you now, don't you Addles?  :-)

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticise them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes.

Of course now it has to change to Oodles  :-)

Oodles of addled Adis, adding their odd Adelaide odometers to the adoring oddballs.

(It's the Chaser Forum's very own version of "Theophilus Thistler")

Theophilus Thistler the thistle sifter, in sifting a sieveful of unsifted thistles thrust three thousand thistles through the thick of his thumb...

Robert Rowley rolled a round a rolled round, and if Robert Rowley rolled a round a rolled round, where is the round roll Robert Rowley rolled round?

Dividing and gliding and sliding, and falling and brawling and sprawling, and driving and riving and striving.

Hardly had his hale highness heard the easy hedgehog, when he hit the humming-bee by the hunter, who had horrible beetles in the human hall. I love to hear the horses hard iron hooves, go hammer, hammer hammer, hammer hammer, on the easy highway. I hit my horse hard and hurried him out to hunt up hogs.

"The sixth sheik's sixth sheep's sick" is about the hardest tongue twister I've ever come across.

Oodles it is, at least until next Sunday!

Blue, did you catch Theophilus Thistler on JJJ the other night?  It was a blast from the past for me!  That song was big when I was delivering pizzas, and I'd try to stick with it while I hurtled around the streets in a steamy '78 Carolla.

Speaking of freaking radio..... Custarro on MMM?  Then I realised Chit Chat has a show now....

Yes I did! I think it was when I was driving home from work last week. Just after 6pm? Blast from the past indeed. Released in 1999 apparently, when I was at uni...

I was trying to sing along, and I still couldn't do it

I'm not too bad on 'Robert Rowley rolled a round a rolled round', but I get lost on 'Dividing and gliding, etc'  :-P

I knew it!

I bought the whole fucking Sonic Animation double album for that song.  I have no idea why it captivated me so, all those years ago....
