Good evening all, my name is Andrew Bolt and I am a writer (in the loosest sense of the word) for the wonderful publication that is the Herald Scum. I am seventeen and am doing my final year of highschool in Victoria. I have midyearlies in a week (hence me being here).

In case you were there - I went to the Age of Terror gig last night, the early session, and was the short, easily exciteable be-hatted Asian girl who got up for the Chaser quiz. I really like TV (Mediawatch, NCIS, Scrubs, Chaser, Spooks, House), music (trip-hop, jazz, electronica) photography and art, reading, politics, and inebriation. I look forward to debating my perfectly reasonable, terrifyingly right-wing political views with you all.

Greetings, O Blot on the landscape.

I work in the evenings and have to get my loyal minions to tape House for me, and I finally caught up with the last episode very early Saturday morning.  By the end, I was in tears.  I can't remember the last time I cried while watching telly - what a fucking brilliant show that is.  Mind you, I used to be a nurse and am generally a medical stickybeak (with a side interest in pharmacology), and the plots are truly ridiculous from a medical point of view.  But hey, you can't have everything.

Welcome.  You'll find several members of the cruel hard right wing on this forum, and I look forward to arguing with you all.  :-P

You're not missing anything, the new stuff is more shite than most US cop et al shows on commercial TV.

Yeah, how good was it! I was expecting a load of bollocks given the general quality of most of Season 3 and 4, but damn! Where have the writers been hiding this stuff! Mang, totally didn't expect to feel so bad for Amber. . .

Also, every time I read this thread's title, I read "crotch" instead of "couch".
