They always screw up on my comp- but i'm guessing that Julian was saying that he doubts they'll do WOE again..?

If that's what it is- everyone could predict that anyway. WOE is too old and tired. They repeated themselves more than enough in the last half of Season 2.. I doubt they'd be able to pull off another successful series of it.

War has also been relegated to Old Chaser Projects...

I would still love them to do another series, but perhaps not with voxies/pranks, rather big stunts  with megaprops (trojan, apec, et al), studio commentary and scripted character setups.

Wow, I didn't notice that.

Seems kinda weird, not seeing it there.

That I believe was a mod decision, but the staff don't seem to be complaining.

They could always pull the War back out in a couple of years, but I doubt they would, just because it was such a bitch to make.

I'm expecting a 'Papal Chaser' series to start filming next month.

Yeah, he's like 'either one more series or none' to put a not-that-long story even shorter.

They're going to move away from stunt comedy... what could they do next?  :|

Written comedy or improvisation, obviously.

I doubt they'd touch the second though. The good formats for that have been done, and I highly doubt they'd wish to try it on more than an occasional-live-segment basis.

Chas said that they have a 75% attrition rate, meaning 3/4 of voxies (general public) they attempt recognise them.  So they have to shoot three times as much to get the same material. That's alot of shooting and alot of ng takes (no good). It killed them. Pythonesque, they work by committee so everyone's awake. Crews were working 7 days.

Long long long days and ABC $$ is peanuts.  The money you spend on 60sec beer ad equals 15 x ABC 55min docos :)

The editor James, an original too, said it was a strange system but it worked: half a dozen directors (plus Craig Melville the location director - diff director in the control room for studio vision mix) all cramped into the edit suite.

They truly are a remarkable ensemble and if they make some dosh out of Terror, they so deserve it.

The Oat Brits vox pop final cut went for how long? Under a minute almost definately- we were out shooting that for hm say.. at least 2-3 hours or more. And we were lucky that day and only 2 or 3 people we approached actually recognised Andrew. There was tons in Pitt St Mall and Darling Harbour that watched, but miraculously only a few "punters" cottoned on.

If you two are going to have a competitive Omgd-I-noe-da-Chaser-off, take it to the PMs.

Haha, no if it looks like I was trying to be competitve with Julie, I'm not  I was trying to back up her point further. Obviously it didn't work very well, but ohwell.
