Any discussion about locked threads can go here so it doesn't get lost elsewhere.

Seriously - I fucking loathed the Ferrari thread too (I went so far as to delete every post I ever made in it to stop it coming up on my replies list), but why lock it?  Ignore it if it annoys you - that's what I do with 90% of the shithouse threads in this place.  It was a stupid display of power, nothing more.

if you were constantly being pestered to fix things, regardless of whether you can or not even when you've told people you can't fix it, being asked to check things, ips emails all that bullshit, you'd get a bit pissed off after a while too, wouldn't you?
