I actually quite liked her character, somewhat campy, very definitely overplayed, the fact she actually took it up to teh "heroic" parties.  One of the better villains around, especially because her nominal super power didn't actually work, or at the very least wasn't shown to give advantage only to have it fail in the most obvious way at teh death.

Some of the continuity issues (eg teh super magnet that seemed to be selectively supermagnetic on all ferrous and non ferrous materials) pissed me off, but hey, it was a good romp.

Oh please, a cliched greaser.  If Cate was a stereotype and the movie ripped of other movies then Mutt was just a bland cut and paste from American Graffiti.

Well, a bland cut and paste, yes, but the actor did a good job of it.

Though, they did point out that the magnetism thing shouldn't have worked, so they can get away with that, sort of.

To an extent although they couldn't even keep it consistent internally.

Sometims it grabbed guns, sometimes it didn't.

Stuff like that.

Well, yeah, but since they said that they didn't understand it and it was very weird, I suppose that can excuse it sometimes working and sometimes not.

But I just saw it.

And I liked it.

EXCEPT FOR THE BLOODY ALIENS!

I hate aliens.
Makes it so unbelievably lameo.

And it really really reminded me of that Atlantis movie.
You know at the end how they are like oh yeah the treasure is knowledge I think they even said that exact line.

And now they will probably make Indy Jr movies. Lame.

But I did quite like it.

No but what in particular?

Because both you and Eru seem to have a thing of just headdesking when you can't think of anything else to say and it makes it look like you get the last word and then when people ask what are you headdesking at you dodge the question.
