Why is nakedness automatically sexual,... are you being sexual every time you are naked while not doing something that requires you to be?

Well, no, but wandering around naked in public is seen as indecent, and so public depictions of naked people often are as well.

Were there statues of child girls with immature breasts?

If you live in Melbourne, nip into Young & Jackson's and have a look at Chloe.  She's been there since 1909, and if she's 18 I'll eat my hat.

In any case, though, is that relevant?  I mean, even had naked photography of children been acceptable in a public context...that was 100-200 years ago.  Society has changed alot since then.

I agree here, just because something was acceptable 200 years ago is not a legitimate reason for it to be okay today – it is also a very lazy approach in identifying acceptable ethical and moral behavior in our time.

the only reason for clothing that isn't based social acceptance, surely is to prevent freezing, sunburn, or getting important bits caught in cogs....

Who is saying nakedness can only be sexual?  Are you making something up just so you can argue a point that no one is making.  As I have said in an earlier post,  it is not nakedness that is the problem but the presentation and context – there is no context when a child poses naked in front of a camera for no reason other than, “look at my nakedness”, in which case I think it is inappropriate.

But to address you bogus insinuation, a loaded gun is not dangerous unless you point it at someone and shoot.  So then, following your logic is it okay to have loaded guns easily accessible to anyone who asks?

1909 ...that would make her at least 99 years old.
