My, haven't the boys moved up in the world.
« on: May 22, 2008, 04:24:50 PM »

Just getting in before someone else does.

If anyone cares, there was just a television ad on Channel 10 for AoT. I didn't see all of it, I just turned around and saw Julian and Chas outside Canberra talking about the show, and then the dates for Geelong came up.

It was definitely an ad, as it was during an ad break and sandwiched by ads. Also, it was in the middle of Judge Judy :-P

My first reaction was "The Chaser? An actual television ad for Age of Terror? *snigger*"

Why not?  There were ads for the tv show.  Every other show advertises itself, why shouldn't they?

I haven't seen ads for "Keating" on tele...or other musicals/plays/comedy thingos. Unless it's some tacky crap at Star City.

I reckon that, combined with Rove, gives an inkling that maybe Ch10 is at the top of the list of favourite commercial options? :P

It was just amusing, I'm not against it or anything.

And although they have advertised the show before, it was never a television ad for the fact it was an ABC show. It's just amusing seeing a television ad for them, even if the stage show hasn't got anything to do with the ABC.

Every Australian news website and major newspaper I've seen has AOT ads now. Gosh it's an ad bonanza.

Or maybe one of them has a thing for Judge Judy and feel it's the closest they will ever get. :'(

Yes. I'm sure Chas has a thing for the Jewish Jezebel of Justice.
