Well, considering that you parted with $40 to endure the lame antics of Wil Anderson, I'm guessing that you're probably one of those Rove watchers who jumped on the Chaser bandwagon after Today Tonight started featuring them every second week.
In which case, you are probably the new Chaser Target Market - that being, braindead twats and fangirls willing to part with $50 to see an hour's worth of recycled garbage, simply so the Chaser boys can pay off their mortgages quicker and maybe spend a summer in the south of France.
Sucked in
Hmmm. Rove McManus, 3rd rate hack with lame punch lines. Nope, sorry, you totally missed me there. In the last three years I have probably watched a total of half an hour of his show, simply from skipping channels through ad breaks on other shows.
New Chaser Market? Nah, been watching the boys do their thing from the start. Oh, sorry, i am not part of the "cool" university crowd who found their newsletters so hilarious.
No, I am just someone who was dissapointed at these guys doing a half assed job on what could have been a great show.
Half of Wil's show is bragging about his drug intake
that and his vegan girlfriend...
Im guessing youve never seen a Wil Anderson show then. Lets see. drug intake reference? Nil. Girlfriend reference? Nil.
I am sorry if we cant all be elitist snobs like you two, but seriously, open your eyes.
And, as for the "90 minute" show?
Doors open, 7pm.
Show starts. 7:20.
Back out on Enmore Rd. 8:40.
Where is the 90 minutes there? Especially since it takes 10 minutes to get out of the place.
I do like the fact that the board nzis are still rife around here.
Oh, its always so important to spell check everything right?
I mean, it is a measure of a persons valuable contribution to any society... if you fail at spelling, you cannot contribute anything meaningful to the world we live in.
Funny how someone said it costs $1200 to see the footy show? Gee, its almost as funny as people paying $1500 at auction to see War on Everything being taped right?
Both shows tickets are free.
Yet, both shows have tickets sold at ridiculous prices.
And, oh yes, I did mention that I understood the show was called variety "hour", though I am not as sad and unloved as to need to put that up in huge red letters. Dont worry, I am sure your mother really does love you. I totally accept my own gullibility at the fact I thought they would have been doing that as a "joke".
I must say, I do like the logic of the mathematic equation, that the fact they were a "team of 7"
Brilliant maths there Julie. So, just another case of being ripped off, as there were not 7 performers at the show I saw. I counted a mere 6. But, where is the logic that they are woth $40 each? I suppose, using your excellently thought out logic, I was till ripped off. Because, at 6x40 thats $240 of value. Yet, 3 weeks before I had seen some 15 people, and that only cost me $30. So, $30x15=$450. How ripped off am I with this Chaser show?
Good luck
