Go ahead, flame all you want, but I must say I was BITTERLY dissapointed with the show.

Yes, it was funny, and there were some great spots in it, but I walked out feeling like I had been robbed of my money.

I know the show title is that its a variety hour, but I figured between them all they could come up with more material.

Having spent $30 to see the comedy gala opener at the Enmore theatre, a show which went for 3 hours, and having previously spent $40 on seeing a 90 minute show by Will Anderson at the Opera House, I was extremely dissapointed paying $50 for one hour of Chaser.

I dont see the justification on the price.

It turned what would have been a good $30 show into a dissapointing $50 waste.

Well, considering that you parted with $40 to endure the lame antics of Wil Anderson, I'm guessing that you're probably one of those Rove watchers who jumped on the Chaser bandwagon after Today Tonight started featuring them every second week.

In which case, you are probably the new Chaser Target Market - that being, braindead twats and fangirls willing to part with $50 to see an hour's worth of recycled garbage, simply so the Chaser boys can pay off their mortgages quicker and maybe spend a summer in the south of France.

Sucked in :)

Excuse me?  You're quantifying?

So do you buy art based on the frame and thickness of paint or wot?

Wil Anderson, lovely as he is, only needs a sound/lighting check and line of coke to get him on stage.

Can't even believe I'm doing this but:
a) They are a team of 7 - wow $40 x 7 = $280, what a bargain you got
b) Costumes - what do you reckon Chas' wicked suit cost to make
c) Multimedia event requiring editor and a ppt vendor - oh and the last frame of the pres is just for you :-P
d) Back-combing Andrew's hair and/or Dom's shoulders and back is not cheap

bargains bargains bargains bargains bargains bargains out they go

So did you buy the block of wood? Could have been put to good use methinks.

Cripes, $1200.00 to see a footy game as well  :-o

But the kid is right. $50 should have got him at least a couple of hours in a theatre seat, and there's plenty of material, even right on this forum, that could fill in some minutes. And let's not forget fart-jokes - always go down a treat.

Yes, well fart-jokes are of limited variety, and are not really satire are they?

Plus, if no-one laughs at a joke, should additional 'penalty' time be added to the end?

I can't wait to see ABC legal suing Chaser Chumps over that line.....

I can't believe you did it either.

But you did.

Funny that.

The Lone Outsider: It depends on how fan you are and how much you value money, time and effort. Yes it is more expensive than some shows but you should not forget to think about how much other shows cost for example a footy show costs $1200 as Biscuit said. The show is 90 minutes. I'm a bit disappointed you found the show disappointing to be honest, but oh well.
