and another thing as long as we're not on the subject- does it seem like a massive waste of time (yes I know every minute spent on here is already a massive waste of time) greeting these newbies when about .5% stick around and post more than twice? The only real newbie who has stuck around lately has been beefy

Welcome aboard, eclectic. We really must sort out some sort of abbreviation, but I can't say I'm overly enamoured with 'clecky' :|
