    • New chat to be founded here-ish. Phew.

Ok, so people are going to see the stage show, and they're going to want to talk about it... and it's probably unfair to ask everyone to not post any spoilers at all, especially as I believe Chaser Corp use this forum for gathering feedback from time to time...

Sooo I'm hoping we can contain any spoilers in here and not randomly litter them about the entire forum.  :-)

Remember that some of us won't get to see the show for months

It would also be nice if you could label any spoilers so people can decide whether or not to read them. Perhaps something like this:

*SPOILER WARNING*

Or this:

*SPOILER WARNING*

Or this:

Plus I think we need to Bring Back Beige! We haven't had a 'beige phase' on the forum in ages, and this seems like a good opportunity to bring it back...

For example:

*SPOILER WARNING*

OMG, Andrew can see dead people!!!

*END OF SPOILER*

If you want to read it, just highlight it with your mouse.  :-)

Now that I've created this thread, I have to avoid it until the end of June!  :-o

The show's too awesome for me to post spoilers. Mind you, I regretted reading the burnout spoiler! Lol. The show was just plain awesome.  :-D

Really??

I liked the bit where they announced that they were signing up with channel 31 and Julian said he was leaving the group after the show finishes*.

It was hilarious. Did you happen to catch that part?

And i couldn't think of anything better than that to write, i'm half asleep here....

*possibly will be seeing as he will be in jail then...

No, that didn't happen in the one I went to. The shows are all slightly different.

Do you even need to say that?

Nice eye-rolling action. You'll make an excellent contestant for the annual eye-rolling competition. I suggest you participate in it, I reckon you'll win gold.

  • Radio is silent, yet it fills the air with noises.

should have only been $30 instead of $50, then i would have left feeling like it was good value, instead of just 'ok'. Felt a bit like watching the tv show, with musical bits jammed in everywhere.

anyone else see the show on the 5th @ the riverside? the fat kid who got up in the quiz and yelled heath ledger when they were talking about someone who partied too hard. that was genuinely funny. especially because the fat kid had no idea why it was funny, he thought he was answering the question. Awesome

Now that is funny.

From the preview I saw on a current affair it seems the whole show is made on the cheap- very low budget. So 50 dollars does seem excesive considering you can go so almost any gig at the comedy festival for less than 30 dollars.

I'm neither disagreeing with the price nor agreeing with it, just want to point out a few things. Comedy festival gigs tend to be (and yes, I am generalising here) in venues with low hire fees (often negotiated specially for festivals such as these), don't involve numerous plane trips and accomodation in numerous cities, frequently involve fewer people, many being solo shows (yes, there are exceptions to this, of course) and a number of artists may be receiving grants or similar to perform (at least that's how it works at the Adelaide Fringe).
