Just saw the first show!

OK, so the first preview show in Wollongong was a hit! Not everything is 100% yet but was still good, apart from the fact that we had a bunch of 15 year olds behind us who continued to chat thru it.

Show is a good mix of new and old (some dating back to 2005!), Dominic doesn't look to comfortable in his overall role but his parts look as though they will become stronger with more shows under his belt. only a few technical hitches thru the show (mainly lights and sound). Timed in at just under 2hours although they did mention that it would normally run 90 minutes.
I was a little surprised that it is set to be standard gags instead of weekly current affairs, but hey, it still works. Only one Wollongong City gag, guess this one will be replaced with the city which they are in.

Would give more info but don't want to spoil it for anyone. Now I have to decide if I am still using my Sydney tickets or flogging them on Ebay!

im so excited - im going to the wollongong show tonight and somehow managed to score front row centre seats!!! oh god how i miss my chaser fix!

why would you flog them on ebay? you can still buy parra and enmore tickets online?

Tickets last night were $25, Enmore tickets are what, $57? Not sure that I want to see it again. It was good, but not sure if it would hold up for a second go. The tickets are close to the front at enmore, and I could use the money in return to buy the DVD which is sure to come out after the tour.
BTW, there is a fair bit of new merch for the tour which is not on sale here yet so save your pennies.

Not underwhelming, just that there is not so much that is improvised and I doubt that will change. Don't get me wrong, It is a really good show. Some jokes would be funny on second viewing but maybe not the whole show.

Anyways AblyOne, the show could get better, who knows. :-)

show was good. unlike dead caesar, this definitely wouldnt hold up for a second watching though.

wow they really need to cut some of it. there are some gags which are much weaker than others.

the song chris taylor wrote is probably my favourite.

the boys didnt come out to sign anything. boooo
