I know there's already been one or two topics about this- but they were sort of irrelevant (not to mention old.)

I was (am) watching the Chaser news alerts, and at the start of the November 24 one, it has this thing about emails. The emails are from some guy called Chris, Andrew Hansen, Jocelyn Laurence ('missing you bad', presumably Chas' emails), indecipherable, Dom and Julian. The point? I'm getting to it.

Julian's message was titled : 'New Series- 'Chaser's Age of Terror Variety Hour' '.
So- these aren't new right? It says its an Archive of the 2005 CNA series.

So basically... was AOT a name they were going to use? (I should just listen to the commentary on the DVDs.)

Yep, it was one of the possible names. It was, as you so perspicaciously identified, mentioned on a DVD commentary.

Yeah, they were going to call the War on Everything the Age of Terror, but ABC didn't clear it.

On the DVD commentary... I think they mentioned it when they were doing the Ad Road Test in which Chris was going up to people and singing, with milk. That's all I remember about it.

Hahah, no offence but I think it's so funny when people see the first season of WOE after they've seen season 2.

Hah, I'm not surprised that people watch Season 1 after Season 2. There is quite a lot of people who started to watch the show from the APEC episode onwards. They usually then watch the rest on YouTube or on the DVDs. I did that. Lol.

There used to be threads on here about all of this, but they've now been deleted 

There was a thread started by Chas, asking for suggestions about what to call WOE because the Age of Terror thing got the thumbs down from the ABC... (They didn't go with any suggestions from the forum, and came up with WOE instead)

And there was an entire board with CNA threads.

But everything that didn't get bumped got deleted, so it appears as if the forum popped up during WOE series 2 or something 

Actually a friendly mod could test out their mod powers and move this thread to the CNA section so my lone thread in there doesn't look so lonely

Cue me? I've never done this before, so it could go 'orribly, 'orribly wrong. But if you're reading this now, it should be on the CNA board. Just for you, blue
