Hi, I'm Toni. And I'm NOT AFRAID of revealing my ACTUAL FIRST NAME which probably thousands of other people share with me ON THE INTERNET. Gosh, capital letters are fun, aren't they? They don't make a statement annoying or gaudy at all. The same can be said for Bert Newton's involvement in any television program, certainly. But enough blatant sarcasm.

I live on the Gold Coast which is renowned for its beautiful beaches, none of which I ever visit. I am in the awkward position of being both a Goth AND a nerd. It's a great deal of fun, going up to someone in terrifying Goth clothing with spikes and skulls and messages of death and so forth, and watching their expression as you enter into a lengthy rant on the superiority of Rose Tyler to Martha Jones as a companion to David Tennant's Doctor.

I've been a Chaser fan for about two years. I was attracted to the team's sense of humour because it's very much like mine, which I apparently inherited from my grandfather. Viz: The three s's - Sarcasm, Subtlety and Satire.

I like to read quietly by myself and draw, which I'm sure would qualify me to feature in a Youth Gone Wild story on any news program.

Hey Toni/missfuneralsong  :-)

I have a feeling there are quite a few nerds on here who like to read quietly by themselves and draw, and plenty of Dr Who fans for you to rant with if you're in the mood. (Actually I probably qualify for both categories... depending on what day it is...)

Not sure if there are many goths though... although it's not always obvious on the interweb.  :?

Yes, but endearingly so. Plus Billie Piper's very talented. Martha's constant lusting after the Doctor became tiresome after the first time she did it.

There was nothing endearing about Rose save for the idea of beating her to death with a blunt tool.

This isn't to say she is worse than the other companion though, because I haven't seen anything of the rest of the series, but that wasn't the point I was making.

I might be wrong - in fact I probably am - but I thought the emoticon name "Mr Green" might give you a hint of what it means.
