pfft o week.

uni is different from high school in that you are totally responsible for what classes you attend. it's totally up to you. they don't mark rolls in lectures, either you're there or you aren't doesn't make a difference to the lecturers. only labs pracs and tutes are compulsory. miss too many of those without a valid reason and you fail on attendance. but that's not to say you're left to completely fend for yourself. they all want you to pass and do well, there are plenty of people who can help you, you just have to ask.

Well, I can give you feedback on BOTH the unis I'm enrolled at. Aren't I a busy little munchkin?  :-o I can tell you all about Issues in Australian Politics II/III, Music and Politics: German Song and Society and Spanish III. You'll be scintillated beyond belief, and simply queueing up to enrol at the University of Adelaide and Flinders University.  8-)

Two unis? How does that work? To use a well used phrase, please explain.

I'm doing my degrees at Adelaide Uni, but each uni only offers 4 or 5 languages, with no overlap except French. Therefore, if you want to do a language that is taught at the other uni from the one you attend, you have to enrol cross-institutionally. Flinders offers Spanish, so I'm enrolled at Flinders for that one subject. It's taught on the Adelaide campus, though. But next year, to do Honours, I'll have to go to the Flinders campus. I have to go through all the admin crap for both unis, and I get double the perks - i.e., two libraries!  :-)

Si, me gusta mucho el espanol. Y me gustan incluso los universidades de Flinders y Adelaida, pero Adelaida es mejor porque tiene musica!

Come es tu profesora de espanol ahora? Ha mejorado, o todavia es muy antipatica?

Oh for sure.
And everyone else will secretly read our tales and wish that they could be cool and come to UNSW.
And wish that they could have exciting stories to share.

Oh, how I wish...

Anyone interested in Tales of TAFE?

Odio mi profesora de espanol. No es intelligent, ni interestante. Tiene mucho pms (como se dice 'pms' en espanol?)

(In anther note, she also think that I am a fuckwit, because of a task we had to do in class. I wrote this wonderful sentance, using my newly acquired knowledge of the future tense, but the girl next to me hadn't did it. So she asked, and I stupidly let her read out my work and tell the teacher we did it together. So now the teacher, that already loves this girl, thinks that I am a dumbarse and the other girl is wonderful. Life can be shit like that)

Not sure about pms, probably should look it up!

...but the girl next to me hadn't did it.
Booky, I congratulate you on grasping the future tense in Spanish, but might I suggest you work on your English tenses?
