Andrew Voice Over Work - The New Inventors 6th Feb
« on: February 06, 2008, 09:17:08 PM »

This is very strange, But I was watching the New Inventors tonight (Wednesday 6th Feb, First Ep of 2008) and they had this Crash Test Dummy on and It was explaining information about its self.

It wasn't a real talking one obviously but a computer generated one. I was wondering if anyone else saw/herd it and if they thought the voice of the crash test dummy was Andrew.

I am 90% sure that It was but was wondering if anyone else thought it to, be great if Andrew could confirm or not.

I will check the credits as well just to see if they list him.

Well, no one is posting, so here you go, something on topic:
A friend watched it and didn't spot anything. She's usually good with that sort of thing.
And something off topic:
I'm going to the New Inventors soon. Should be fun, ha ha.

I reckon it was Andrew, having just seen it. It was quite cute.

I doubt it'll be on youtube. You might have to download the whole ep here.

Wait, why the fuck were you watching the New Inventors? Some kind of Clockwork Orange-eske torture to condition you against inane boredom or something?

Hahaha. It's funny because I was at the ABC about two weeks ago, and I was in the bathroom, and near the sinks and in the cubicles, they had these massive stacks of fliers advertising The New Inventors and going on about the free seats for the studio audience :lol:

Yeah, that definitely sounds like Andrew. Why is he doing random voice-overs, aren't they supposed to be on break?

what, so he isn't allowed to do anything else ever because the group is on a break? guess he shouldn'tve done dead caeser last year because it was during their break. and heaven forbid that any of the write any articles, or commentate the cricket or anything because they're on their break.

I should go to one. Just to be funny
Actually, I think the flier said that it can take 3 hours or something. Screw that, ahaha.

It wouldn't take that long to do anyway, it's not like it'd destroy his freedom
He'd just have to go to the ABC for like, an hour, at best.

You can actually just watch that particular segment, you just have to click on "watch clips..."

I think it's quite funny,he's got the slightly-patronising-science-teacher voice down pat

"On my body I have an accelerometer, to measure how hard I hit things"

I just watched the clip then- that is definitely Andrew. He has a rather distinctive voice I think - in a good way  :-)

I think it's so funny and cute because whoever wrote the script has obviously tried so very hard to make it seem like a real person with what they say and how it crosses its legs and lips move.

I wonder if any of the younger fangirls cried when they saw it because they thought the dummy was actually Andrew.
