Yeah - It's really quite amusing, I mean, I think it's horrible that the girl was so upset she told her father but her fathers a bit weird considering that comment, and calling the ABC and everything, That would piss me off if I was her... But whatever.

I think he wrote dom instead of mod, asin moderater.  And I also believe the dad went to far. Fair enough, he has a right to be upset and to do something about it, but he seemed to drag the situation on for longer than it should have been - or so it seems from the thread.

I used to read these forums ages ago- and just never posted. Something to do with me forgetting my password and not being bothered to recover it, I believe.  :lol:
But I do remember reading these... I think. They're pretty god damn halarious. I feel sorry for the poor girl... such over protective parents. geez, doesn't everyone get insulted when they first come on here? It's just the forum veterans way of saying welcome.

Well Hothouse did go and tell her father, he stated it in the thread he posted. Also, he did say something along the lines of they both worked out to go to the ABC, to 'not let the bullies win' so it's not really just having overprotective parents.

Believe it or not, I wasn't insulted when I first posted. I guess they overlooked my intro thread.  Haha.

FZ, didn't he say he "compromised" - she wanted to keep a low profile and he wanted to shut down the entire site, so they sufficed with contacting the ABC and getting people banned, I think?  Meh, it's over anyway.  I think my dad would have acted the same way, too, but I probably wouldn't have dealt with it like she did. Aw well.

Ha ha, my father doesn't know I'm on the forums, but if he walks past the computer and sees the Chaser logo he just sighs. I'm the only one in my family who is really into Chaser. Everyone watches it but isn't into it as much as I am. My brother is slightly, he's a huge CNNNN watcher. He loves Charles. Well, he doesn't LOVE him, persay. But he thinks he is the best.
