that should deter all the bad people.
so today the chaser had three signings, and me and half a dozen other people all rocked up at an ungodly hour at chadstone to bum around and be first in line (which we were). Well it was Eliza FZ and me, and we met Kim there and proceeded to where the signing had been moved, until we bumped into Equihan.... or well we coerced her over because she looked like she was slightly unsure of what was happening, and we took the plunge of guessing she was a forumster). Then her, 'Liza and me went back downstairs and bought ponies, and a coffee, after being abused by Dilan (who came with a friend and younger sister) on the mobile (not really but you know), and then went back upstairs to find the security moving us about (there was a large crowd forming now), deciding about where. Now Calcifer and friend from last year had arrived, and once we were settled somewhere Hamando found us, but wasn't around for too long. Yet half an hour after the Chaser boys were meant to be signing stuff, there were no Chaser boys, and we find out that their plan only arrived about half an hour ago. So with an "ohhhhhhhhhh" we wanted until we saw Andrew and Jules arrive! and then we squinted and went "huh" and realised Dom and Richy were there too. Calcifer and her mate were recognised from last year
Dilan embarrassed herself, something about pee, and her pants, and I think Eliza and FZ were recognised. If they weren't at that signing, they were at another.
Dom mentioned something about his ears hurting from the plane or something...
I talked to Jules, but I can't remember what about... how strange.
And Andrew asked me if I had dyed my hair for the occasion. Which I think is hilarious.
Calcifer also came prepared with speech bubbles, hilarious ones at that and she has a video I took of her holding up one behind Andrew that said something along the lines of "I wonder if my hair is big enough for the fangirls," which worked really well as at first Andrew was worried people were laughing at
him (never), and then Jules looked over and laughed as well.
So we get to the second signing about what, a half hour before it starts? so we're a few people away, and about ten minutes past the scheduled time Chris makes an appearance and flaunts it with some girls for photos, as we wait for what we thought was Chas and Craig, but it's only Chas who comes running through the crowd, yet then the line doesn't move for twenty minutes. That was thrilling. Good thing we had each other for good *cough* conversation. FZ and some randoms got interviewed for the age online or something, and there were more jokes along the lines of "what? Who are the chaser? I thought this was a Chris Lilley signing..." and Kim mentioned something hilarious about how she'd only watched the credits of the chaser, and they were the best bit, because it was just before summer heights high started. By the time we got to the front, everyone was overshadowed by Calficer and her friend, with their cookie monster from the year gone (I was there last year too you burkes! I just got a hair cut and had different coloured hair!). And also Hayley and Eliza were told it's Q and A tonight at the Bore so to think of something... and I think that's as amusing as it gets. Ohhhhh and Calcifer had another speech bubble, this time above Chris's head which said "now the WOE is over I wonder if I could ask out Anna Coren," The funniness (believe it or not). But then! ohs noes! we were late for the third signing. Shock fucking horror (I'm tired, I've been running around the city all day followed a crazed Eliza and FZ). it was Jules, Dom and Andrew, and this time Calcifer had a thought bubble above her head about work experience. The guys were tired by this stage, however did not fail to fall in love with Calcifer, who then got stuck behind the table with Jules and Andrew. Which was hilarious. You had to be there moment. and Andrew signed my "life on the murder scene" DVD, and he was like "oh I'll sign anything emo!" and wrote "how depressing!" so I was amused by that. the end.
well not actually because I sat down and then heard Hayley say (once the line had disappeared at the end) "so how are? how are you really? like how are you, how are
you?" and proceeded to wet myself with laughter. And then apparently Hansen said he liked Eliza's date rape cookies, even though he didn't eat one.
and I'm writing this up because every man and their fucking dog is going to the bore. and this is also being made because we want to exchange photos, and it's obviously too hard to do without making a thread about it. and I suppose other people could tarnish our group experience with their own. But you know... all my photos from the events can be found
