To be released on Wednesday 2nd April, at EzyDVD anyway. It's not on the JB or ABC shop websites yet, but Ezy's usually the first one to post new releases.

thats what i assumed as well. their recording commentry this week or something?
maybe they cant get it out in time so their just pushing it back to feb?

Couldnt have anything to do with them releasing material currently in use in a court case? - This probably has no effect at all but I have no knowledge relating to us of disputed case material.  (It's times like these we need Judge John Deed and his intricate knowledge of the system  ) .

At least i have time to find the money to buy it, currently need money for stage show tickets.

Thanks for the info. Adi, I was hoping it would be released before Christmas so I could get someone else to buy it for me but oh well  It's reasonably priced and I'll be getting from whoever has it available first. I'm looking forward to the commentaries! (what a sad life I do lead)

Nah, I won't be either, but they're always the first to put up new releases, and the only place I've found the info so far. I've been looking regularly! I imagine most shops will have it for between $25 & $30, but last time I waited a few weeks and it went down to $20ish.

I was hoping they'd push it through for Christmas too, there's obviously some good reason why they're not. This date is right between Christmas and my birthday, so I'll just have to buy it for myself. Ah well, it's worth it.

Great to hear, I asked @ the ABC shop the other day, they said fairly early next year.

I guess they realised they couldn't get it out for xmas, so decided to release it more in the middle of the gap between the end of the war and the start of the stage show. Or something. If it was out for xmas, there would certainly not be any election eps, but now there might be.

Maybe they might put the best of episodes on, may explain why it's so late however I doubt they would as they didn't put the two best of episodes on last year.

I am also looking forward to the commentaries though. I thought I was just a sad loner who had nothing better to do with their time than watch Chaser commentary track after commentary track.
