Really interested in having a squiz at "Uni" the doco that features Andrew and Charles. Does anyone know where I could get it?

I think it was '~Julie~' perhaps ?
I am not totally sure.

i emailed simon target, the director/producer about it a couple months ago. he said he didn't have the master copies and that the abc could probably make a copy from theirs via video sales. another thing he suggested was to request that the show is repeated on abc, maybe on abc2.

to be honest, i haven't done anything about it since i got his email as i got quite busy with stuff and it hasn't really stopped since :roll:

I think requesting it is a good idea! I can't be bothered to try and get a copy and I bet a lot of other people can't either :-P

Could I please have Simon's email address? I'm hoping if enough people bug him, he'll do something about it!

Also, how do I request that the ABC screen it?

Perhaps if we run a poll about the issue, see how many people are in favour of a screening on the ABC or a release of the doco, that may help too?

I emailed the ABC Content Sales a while back and they said that they could not sell it as it was only to be shown on TV. :cry: Our only hope now is ABC and ABC2 will show it again.

Thanks for the info guys. I guess it's pretty unlikely it will be shown again though. Wasn't it made during the late 90s? Probably a little old for re-screening  :cry:

They replayed Race Around The World earlier this year, and that was from 1996-7.

This is good.  If there's enough interest in something, it'll usually be put on again.  Just keep sending those emails.

then why is this still on their site?

yeah, it says it's only a business-to-business thing, but if the director/producer himself said it was possible, surely they could make a small run of them?

Yes, that was the link that gave me hope, but alas, it was not so. :-D Yes, if the director gave permission, then they could probably re-run it.
