For all the youngest ones here...
« on: November 28, 2007, 10:24:59 PM »

END OF SCHOOL IS SO NEAR  :-D

We've heard the very, very old people (HSC kids) brag about finishing school, getting drunk and acting trashy so now it's our turn! Except I don't drink, nor act trashy so have fun without me

Firstly, when do you all finish school and what are your plans for the holidays?

I finish on the 14th of December, but from now until then it's just bludger weeks filled with videos and easy word searches.

At first I read that and was like uh why is bludger filled with videos?
Although didn't really surprise me.

I don't see why we get forced to stay an extra 3 weeks after our exams and reports are written, well 1 week is for 'smart start' but seriously, 2 weeks of doing nothing gee...

You young'uns will be sad when you leave school. School is like... a shelter! Gives you something to do!!

FX, will this mean you'll be on the forum less?  8-)

I can't wait to get of of school! Fancy staying long enough to study about pig sex. It's disgusting. I'll wait till I get my reports then start the great bludge.

Yes :( Instead of bludging my school work and going on the forum, I'll be forced inside a dark room to watch lame movies from the 90s.

I prefer to laugh as I watch the trashy people make fools of themselves.  :-D

The only good thing about school was all of my friends. The sense of community. Having somewhere to go. Something to do everyday. Something to think about. Something to learn and somewhere to put your brain to good use.

Ah, how I do miss school.

Holy goat, the school I work at finishes on the 6th. That's a week tomorrow.
Bahahah! I finished on the 27th of November! Take that, society!

By which I mean, yeah... our crappy school has introduced the crappy "Jumpstart"
program; you start the next year about 3 weeks from the end of the year (when everyone
is winding down, and therefore you are expected to work at 120% capacity...) and since
I'm moving, I don't have to go! Wheee! Actual school finishes on the 19th December, but
the last three days are Activities Week - pointless 3 days of crap activities that no-one
would actually want to do, but Rosebud SC forces you to go anyway :)

I keep clicking this thread hoping it'd be some preachy thing about education and worthwhile, from an elder but then I realsie it's posted by FZ, yet I still click in anyway. if I post in it, then I'll remember it's shit.

so +1 for Kelch's post count.
