It was the most heart wrenching event of my life. As I sat in my luxurious Surry Hills apartment with a few close friends, some wine and nibbles I watched in disbelief as the seconds longest and most infleuntial Prime Minister this country has ever had, conceded defeat.
It was as though the world had been turned upside down and it was almost too much to bear for a grass roots patriotic conservative such as myself. It was even more heartbreaking to see a smug Mr Rudd, the puppet of the Union Bosses smiling smugly with all the benevolence of Chairman Mao.
If any of you can name one good Labour government I would like to hear it. As always the Australian people will toy with the idea of a labour Government until they stuff the economy LIKE THE HAVE ON ALL PREVIOUS OCCASIONS and then the Australian people will turn back.
This is a sad day for all Australians.
No longer will there be effective border protection, low interest rates and record levels of unemployment. No longer will there be a zero tolerenrance on drugs and immoral behaviour.
An last but certainly not least, they will STUFF our economy and YOU will PAY for it.
