Honorary Ep 27: 1 hour special

I noticed in the online ABC TV guide that the week after the scheduled last episode of WoE/Chaser Decides, there's a one hour special on Wednesday the 5th of December with highlights & lowlights of the year. They also promise a few unseen bits (of the show and of their bodies) but methinks these can be regarded the same as their advertised DVD extras.

I've already mentioned this in chat last night and over in the Ep 24 thread, but I thought I'd make sure everyone was a lert. Nasty shortage of lerts in the world.

If there are any new parts, do you think they'll just be what's going to be on the DVD?

A bit off topic, but do you think there's any chance the two Chaser Decides eps will be bonus DVD footage even though its not WoE?

I'd hope that they put the Chaser Decides episodes on the DVD along with the 11 episodes of WoE proper. It's still part of the same series. If they don't I might find the need for a strongly worded email or three.  :wink:

And yes, if there are any new parts (which there might well not be), it does seem likely they'll be DVD extras too. I guess it depends on (a) how much unshown footage they have, and (b) how much they want to reward people who buy the DVD!

Oooh, even better thought, Visi! But maybe they feel that the old Decides shows are a little too out of date, given how topical they are. But hey, CNNNN still works! Gosh I hope they do that  :-D

It would be way awesome if they compiled a DVD of The Election Chaser, The [previous] Chaser Decides, and The Chaser Decides for 2007.
