The ABC hasn't gone for the comic credentials (obviously not wanting to let the Chaser loose in the official tally room) but nonetheless promises "to make the whole affair as hilarious as [they] can".
Seven's going for the numbers, obviously. Their highlights should be Anna Coren and Andrew O'Keefe - every election coverage needs its resident game show host.
Channel 9 has recruited Charles Firth to be their "comic relief", doing a few "humorous spots" during the evening.
I am overwhelmed by choice. The very idea of Mel & Kochie flapping their gums together on a topic about which they know far too little appalls me. I'm sticking to the ABC, and hoping to fluke a few Firth pieces during the evening.
